6. Extreme Weather Congress, April 12^th - 15^th, 2011

With dramatic heat waves striking East Europe and Asia as well as terrible floods in Pakistan, the discussion on climate change and extreme weather conditions is fueled with new questions arising. The Extreme Weather Congress provides a platform for new scientific findings on those and other subjects.
The upcoming 6th annual Extreme Weather Congress will host a variety of scientists, journalists, politicians, representatives from economic entities, governmental and non-governmental weather service agencies, as well as celebrity weather forecast presenters from Radio & TV. Amongst Extreme weather forecasting strategies and analyses of current events, climate change in urban regions and mitigation strategies will be at the heart of the discussions.
