Submitting an abstract
Please consider the following points in your abstract:
- What is the issue or question addressed in your presentation?
- Why is this issue relevant?
- What kind of evidence are your conclusions based on?
- If you are providing data, how was it derived (studies, analyses)?
- Are you referring to existing reseaarch (theories, findings) or practices in the field?
- What are your hypotheses or conclusions?
- What will we learn from your presentation that we did not know previously?
- Do not add a bibliography. State only a small selection of authors to allow for better classification of your research (e.g. Popper, 1965; Miller, 2005).
- Please do not write more than 500 words.
- Submit your abstract in German.
- Please include the following information for the program:
Personal: Title, name, position, organization
Regarding the presentation: Title and brief description (e.g. "This presentation shows how extreme weather incidents and climate change are interrelated. It presents an overview of the latest scientific insights and looks at what kind of extreme weather incidents we must expect in the future, while putting current weather phenomena into a climatological context.")
